Thanos & Erik Killmonger: Are They Right?

The last two Marvel movies have left me feeling conflicted. I want to hate them, I want to root against them.  I can’t…at least not wholeheartedly. Their actions make me despise them, but their viewpoints make me question real life issues.  This feeling of confliction is unusual to feel from a Marvel movie. There usually is a clear cut good guy and/or bad guy, but what are we supposed to do when the villains start to make sense? {Credit to Artist)

The Fate of The MCU...

Marvel Studios and the Russo Brothers pulled off a feat. They tricked us. Literally. They ACTIVELY fooled the audience leading up to Infinity War’s release. The trailers have scenes with characters removed and/or added, swapped dialogue, and several that don't appear in the movie at all. I also got a few things right. A hell of a lot of characters, and people in general, died. I called that Tony Stark would live to see his nightmares come to pass. And you know what? I got SO MUCH wrong as well. The characters that did die where almost literally the opposite of who I expected. So what’s going to happen to the MCU?

And on the 7th Day...Thanos Rested!!!

A week has passed in regards to the theatrical release of Avengers: Infinity War. At this point multiple reviews, critiques and analyses of the film has flooded the Internet and all have given the final diagnosis: the film has set the precedent as the movie event of the year. What I haven’t seen, however, is the emotional impact the movie had on the viewers, especially me. With that being said, after watching this movie…. I’m still shaken by what happened in the film… (Credit to Teespring for the image)

Bakugo VS. Sasuke: What Makes a Hateable Character Relatable?

Katsuki Bakugo is a young man with the incredible ability to create explosions from his hands. From the anime' My Hero Academia, I believe he heavily parallels Sasuke Uchiha’s rivalry from the modern anime, Naruto. Although Naruto came first, I believe that My Hero Academia’s Katsuki Bakugo is a far better character than Naruto’s Sasuke Uchiha. How could such a new series, one that’s only existed since 2014, create a character better than one that’s been around for over a decade?
