Godzilla here has a presence on screen like you’ve never really seen before. This Godzilla is not a hero, nor a villain. He’s an animal, and he is terrifying. This just might be the best Godzilla film that’s ever been produced in his seventy-year lifespan.

I’m here to judge Evil Dead Rise for what it is, not what I thought it would be. Any gripes I have with the film are minor nitpicks at best and theoretical non-issues at worst.

I’d like to take this opportunity to compare and contrast Trigun Stampede against the ‘98 original, to see what works, what doesn’t, and ultimately, which I believe is better.

After seeing the film twice theatrically (once in Japanese with English subtitles, and again dubbed in English), I can safely say that this is not only one of my favorite films of 2022, but possibly one of the best kaiju films ever made.

Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog has opened the door to a whole host of new and exciting ideas, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

The emotional heart of Black Widow and its message on family resonated with me. Natasha’s family makes for a wonderful addition to the MCU and I can’t wait to see them again in a future film or television series.

Netflix’s series is a new seven-episode anime season expanding on the concepts introduced in both Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim Uprising, exploring the concepts the franchise has used since the first film. By making the show a television series, it allows us to really dig deep into the franchise and the new characters we meet along the way.

While JOKER’s plot may tread familiar ground, it’s the man we walk it with that truly makes this film stand out as one of the best films of 2019. It should be said that without Joaquin Pheonix, the movie wouldn’t work. But with him, this movie earns itself a 9 out of 10. Who’s laughing now?
