Let’s face it: social media is saturated with twerk videos. From X to Facebook to Instagram—and damn near every chat, text, and talk platform—it’s everywhere. So much so that the last remnants of twerking’s artistry lie in the professional hands of Megan Thee Stallion and a host of other talented female artists. And while Megan is currently the Intercontinental Twerk Champion of the world, twerking has now become canon in the pop culture universe. But there’s a new player on the scene. Her name is Kya Renee, and her TikTok alias is Cooking with Kya.

In one scene, she showcases a steak—about 24 to 32 ounces (I’m unsure of the exact size, but it takes up half the plate)—paired with a baked potato dipped in cheese and loaded with sour cream, gouda, and cheddar shreds. But it doesn’t stop there. The garlic bread acts as the garnish on this otherwise massive plate of food. Yes, everything is bigger in Texas. Greens do exist, but here they take the form of asparagus in a cream sauce. And while the food, at first glance, looks five-star, it’s the hook that makes you pay attention: “Girl!!! I can steal your man with this dinner I cooked, for real!!!” Confidence.
The plate in question, which launched just 19 hours ago, has already garnered 2.6 million views... in just 19 hours. All this while she showcases her looks for the social media world. I’ll just leave it at that.
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and a host of other platforms—Kya’s cooking videos are lighting up timelines everywhere with the good, the bad, and the ugly. People love her, Some dislike her. Her food is fiya, but to get the golden recipe, you’ve got to watch her twerk.
